This explains what information HarmonicMatch (harmonicmatch.app, operated by Bobby Hemingway, doing business as HarmonicMatch, Raleigh, North Carolina) collects, why, and what you can do about it.
To generate a compatibility result, we collect what each person enters directly: name, date of birth, birthplace, the place they've lived longest, answers to personality questions, and their ranked connection-style or humor-style preferences.
If you unlock a full report, you may optionally give us an email address on the report screen. This is separate from anything Stripe collects at checkout — Stripe's checkout email is used by Stripe for its own receipt, and does not automatically reach us or get added to any list.
If you leave your email with us, there is a separate, unchecked checkbox to opt in to receiving updates from HarmonicMatch. If you leave it unchecked, we don't send marketing email to that address.
We never see or store your card number — Stripe handles that directly. We do not use advertising trackers or sell any data to third parties, ever.
Session data (the questionnaire answers, scores, and report) is retained for a limited period tied to your session link, after which it is no longer accessible. An email address you've provided is retained until you ask us to delete it.
You can ask us to delete your email address, or any information tied to a specific session, at any time by emailing support@harmonicmatch.app. If you opted in to updates and change your mind, the same email works to opt back out.
We share data only with the service providers needed to run HarmonicMatch: Stripe (payment processing), Anthropic (AI report generation), and our hosting provider (Railway), each solely to perform their function for us. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your data for anyone else's marketing purposes.
HarmonicMatch is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Material changes affecting how we use previously collected email addresses will be communicated to those addresses directly.
